The Chaahk starfighter is more a mid-range fighter that is capable of making small hyperspace jumps, and is generally regarded as the primary all-purpose starfighter for the Xinarans. The stasis-wing panels can be modified with varrying equipment to outfit this fighter for more specialized service. Stealth, ECM modules, Sensor targeting arrays, are just some of the additional modules that can be outfitted on the wings.

The overall versatility of this craft has kept it in service for well over a hundred years, with only minor revisions to the power, onboard, and shielding systems, helping to keep the craft up to date with current technologies. The actual frame has changed little.
