One of the most underratedly original entertainers I knew of...

One of my favorite things ever is how Jim Henson ad-libbed so many of his Sesame Street segments with the little kids, knowing the kids could see the thought process; whereas Mister Rogers insisted, ironclad, there be no ad-libbing whatsoever, he insisted the children deserved the script to be revised until it was as clear and simple as he could make it. And they were both right!
