this vehicle isn't really for travelling across the wasteland or for taking part in attacks or raids but for patrolling around a large post apocalyptic farm.

in my world, there are many things that lead to the fall of civilization. the main thing though would probably be climate change. increased rain fall in the spring causing farm fields to flood and droughts in the summer that kill off more crops. causing the prices to go up on food. and when people start profiting on this crises, mistrust in the government, military, and anyone with power grows. there's financial collapse, rioting, and total anarchy.

so with the dollar nearly worthless (in just about all countries) the wealthy buy gold and silver thinking there being smart, but when people who have food won't trade for precious metals anymore, they to are worthless.

the new form of currency quickly becomes anything the remaining people need and want. including food, alcohol, and fuel. tobacco, grain, and especially corn becomes very valuable as it can be food, can be made in to oil that diesel trucks can run on, it can be distilled into alcohol that power cars or even just be drunk.

so now this car comes in.

larger farms need to be guarded, day and night. so vehicles like this are used. 4 wheel drive, higher ground clearance, striped back bodies to reduce weight, spot lights. capable of handling mud in the spring, and fast enough to chase off those who jump fences of barb wire and old shipping containers too take food. kind of sad but that's what my world has come to.
