I second the Avatar thing--at first, I avoided it like the plague, but then my friend who reccomends to me what animated show I should be watching said "WATCH IT OR I WILL HURT YOU".... so watch it I did! And for a Nickelodeon americanime I really like it! Sometimes it reminded me of Teen Titans (the animation, no doubt), but the story is awesome and BONUS: it ends! It doesn't go on FOREVAR!
i think it's got a better sense of humor than most real animes or teen titans on it's own ^^ teen titans makes up for humor with overly exagerated facial expressions. which is funny. but not geniune. i've lost track with how many times i've chuckled over something in avatar. ^^

This is just. Just. I don't even have words to describe how incredible this is. It's one of the greatest things I've seen on this site thus far, and it's not even furry. One, Kataang FTW. Two, the realism of this is just incredible. I can almost feel the sinewy bodies of the two, something which I totally thought of whilst watching. They're athletic youths, I mean... they have to look like that, right? The tension in the clothes and part of Aang's body is a beautiful comparison to the tender easiness of Katara's arms around his neck. lskjdhflkjhd and the shading is masterful, deep, and really brings these forms to life. I think someone said you have improved on your humans, and I was like O.O this is INSANE. I think, also, my favourite touch, however small, is how you rendered the arrows on Aang's skin. Just gorgeous, and this is now one of the two favourites on my page.
there's nothing wrong with doing non-furry stuff. this is a furry COMMUNITY, not an exclusive furry art site... it's for anthro artists, fantasy artists, surreal artists, furry artists and those that are ok with the fandom overall to come together and share some form of animal liking. that's why in the submission box there's so many choices, not just choices for furry art ^^ so keep it up. you don't have to promise furry art to get people to watch. there are plenty of people on here that can appreciate good art, an alot of people that like humans just fine. i mean hell... we're all humans in RL anyway XDDD
me, i'm not a furry. i'm an anthro artists.. but i submit a large variety of things. some furry stuff, some anthro and some fantasy too ^^ i just like animals just like the next person.
so submit whatever art you make, don't let anyone pressure you otherwise... this isn't DA, this is an art site that's alot more accepting and laid back.
great piece too btw. i love avatar ^^ this makes the show look very soft. though the only issue i have with it is Aang's face. he's suppose to be 12, so he just seems a little older. both of them actually. they look like they're nearing adult hood more than still being very young and falling in love ^__^

on a side note... i HATE it when people call something like this "Aangatara" or "Katang" that's so stupid... it's TWO ferkin people!!!! TWO! not one, stop calling that a pairing! i mean if these people get all fussy about it, i think they should finish watching the ferkin series and just get over it.

You did a stunning job at "capturing the moment" in this image.. something that many artists don't pay enough mind to, or simply unable to execute so well. It was the first thing I thought when looking at it. This is a freeze frame in time.

I love that in the moment I saw this.... - Aang finally felt grown up enough not to have simple puppy-love for Katara...
That is a fantastic moment you've captured.. there is an emotion captured in the colors and lines, and I remember back to my first kiss - feeling completely nervous and assuming I was transparently jittery to the other person..
The moment.. happens so fast you can't remember it once it's gone.. and you know this as you linger, unsure if you should make that move... even though your slowly inching toward it in excruciating slow-mo n.n Exhilarating! Someone mentioned a freeze frame... this is definitely that moment that your hesitating... just before you both commit to the action your going to perform.. what a lovely kiss about to happen. n.n
