Fixed up a quick ref of these critters as I love them so, and ive been asked a few times XD (for a general colour idea of them, lookie at the pic of Kisha http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1762188/)
Finally came up with a species name with Tari, they be called a Qwhilla!

They are a very small sub-species closely related to the Leaan (Dirtiran) and are around the size of a normal Grey squirrel. They are mainly a exaggerated mix of the features from Squirrels, Australian brush tailed possums, Sugar gliders, Australian striped possum, and bower birds.
They are almost 100% organic, apart from some synthetics still found in their prehensile tail that they use for climbing and hanging from. This can be incredibly useful while feeding from hard to reach flowers.
Qwhilla's are omnivores, though most of their diet consists of nectar from flowers.
They have poor vision, and mainly use their over sized ears for getting around (think bats), and also use their broad size for heat loss in the warmer seasons.
