My half of the art trade with the wonderful Wapy on DA! She's waptastic! Me? I suck.

It's both our Nakamura's. (That's their last names).
We themed on cooking... cake was the idea... but I failed. I saw this image in a manga I read, of one of those Japanese food cart restaurants (I forget what it's called. T__T) and I just had to do it this way. :D

If I had spent anymore time on it I was likely going to cry or scream.

The background was done in Illustrator, thus the perfect lines. I did shading with the pen and gradient tool on the background. The characters were drawn and inked in OpenCanvas, then back into Photoshop to color, shade and highlight. then merge with background and post on DA in a wallpaper size. :D
