Well, she DID just go over her personal body issues (which I actually think don't look bad at all!) and is all embarrassed and insecure about that. She's probably thinking all sorts of horrible things like how much of a reject she is, that I might have been angry about her going around uncovered, or that despite years of adoring and caring about her, she'd be somehow hated for that one lapse in judgement. :<
Mostly I (in-character snowmew me) just was surprised to see her doing something so uncharacteristic... After all, Caity and Erin are FAR less reserved.
