I made this for
shadowquine and wow do I love how it turned out <3 SQ named him Soren, which I love because it means severe/stern and it sounds like soaring. A+ birp name IMHO.
Suit features luxury shag furs, Arctic fox and a snow-white short pile that was a local find; a kanekelon tail; moving jaw and fan; handpainted following eyes; digitigrade padding; resin beak and claws and eeee lookit them silicone pawpads, horseshoes and frogs [fleshy bit on the bottom of hooves]!
Please note, I am nowhere near in size/shape as the client, so excuse that I'm trying to hide my gigantic baby bump with my arms in some of the shots.
All parts made by ourselves here at NLCC <3

Ehhh kinda sorta?
I have sold a few of these hawk bases and still need to finish the updated mold, when I cast them I do plan on making a few extra and putting those up for auction here on FA. I don't usually sell parts as I prefer to focus on finished work but I think this is the only way I'll be able to earn some income in the next few months while we figure out how to be parents X3

yeah! And I like to give mine furry hands because... I dunno, really. I think they just look pretty cool like that! There's a hippogryph in Harry Potter's 3rd movie with scaled bird forelegs, and there's another type of lion-eagle gryphon called an opinicus that has lion arms, I guess mine could be considered... opinicus hippogryphs??
