This song is in its last leg of being finalized. The vocals and backing tracks are mixed in just fine, but now I need voice work for the security guard, of which Oldfreek has volunteered for the job. The inspriation for this song hit me as I was in the dealer's den in Anthrocon 2007, and hearing the 15-minute announcement over the loudspeaker gave me a tune in my head to the tune of an old Johnny Cash classic, 25 Minutes To Go. I started humming the words to myself, and before I knew it, the lyrics began to slowly form in my mind. Quickly, I darted out of the dealer's den, across the street, into the hotel, got sidetracked by a group of fans, brought them up to the hotel room with me so I could jot down these lyrics before I lost them, and in 2 minutes, I had these lyrics. Then I was able to relax for a little while and chatted with the group of fans I met up with just outside. They were pretty overjoyed to see me work in action, and I told them that inspiration hits even at the spur of the moment, and when it does, the world stops for a moment while I gather my thoughts and jot down some notes. They understood quite well, and I was able to sign some CDs for them before they departed. Later that night, I went to work and recorded this song up in the hotel room, and this is the version you are hearing now. This song was intended to be performed at Anthrocon 2008, but I, like an idiot, had to leave my material at home. Didn't get to perform at all this year, but I will be returning in 2009 to perform it then...even though my skit would have been better fitting for last year's theme. Oh well...

Just need his demanding and powerful security voice to make the announcements for the song, and it's good to go.
