I really wanted a picture of Earshot in his family heirloom jacket so I turned to Foxenwolf http://www.furaffinity.net/user/foxenawolf/ to draw a picture of him. When I informed her that for a pose he should be 'Facing the camera' I didn't realise it would be taken very literally.
No regrets though. She got the spirit of the picture right, Earshot's jacket looks like an old RAF leather flight jacket, is nearly two thousand years old and is made of Gorgon Skin (meaning very tough)
Earshot examined the strange apparatus before him. It was a wood and leather box, built like a bellows with a glass eye in the front, a cape of cloth dangling from the back and it stood on three wooden legs.
"Miss Lady Weathervain, what's this do?"
"Oh that. That's a camera. Haven't you seen one before, Earshot?"
"Yes. Many times... but what does it DO?"
"Oh, well it's a device that makes an image of you. In fact it's good you found it, I need to take a picture of you for the Storm-Riders' files," Lady Weathervain paused a moment before gently pushing him away from his inspection of the lens. "That is once you take a few paces backwards. If I took a picture of you right now all your file would have is the inside of your nostrils."
