The inspiration I used for the armor was the textures of the Aibo robot dog and the shapes from HALO. I ended up making a lot more plating pieces and added chrome because it started off looking a bit too much like a clone trooper. Hopefully that's fixed that! I had a bit of difficulty with the the face, red pandas have such baby faces! It was difficult to get a grownup expression on his face, haha.

Overall one of my favorite pieces to date, I think the new soft blend technique I've been using really works with white!

To those who have traded or requested art from me, I apologize for suddenly taking a commission out of the blue. The very generous :namegrischu: came out of the blue and requested one, and well, one thing led to another. Those who requested art will still be receiving their requests (I believe it's only one guy at the moment, though), but I've decided to close requests for now. I will be making freebie YCHs in the future, so keep an eye out for those! I'll be posting a journal explaining why and how those work. I'm still accepting trades for the time being, however, and am still working on my current ones! @_@
