This is one of the better photos that I took whilst I was in Japan for a week with my wife.
We were visiting the Meiji Shinto shrine in Shibuya ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meiji_Shrine ), which is located in a wooded area in the city.
Cicadas chirps can be heard all over the place and drown out the voices of the other people around you. The only thing you can hear from the city is the occasional train tooting as it comes into the station.
Every now and then you will get openings in the trees and you will see a skyscraper, I can't think of the words the describe it... a sense of how secluded the shrine is? tucked away in a preserved area, protected from the city.
This was one of the main things that impressed me about Japan, they are very hardcore when it comes to preserving their countries history, building around shrines and other buildings.
We actually go to witness a traditional wedding being carried out in the grounds whilst we were there as well, very interesting to watch.
