its too early to feel like this lmao
warning big ol' vent up ahead
so idk if any of you know but I've been struggling with my weight since my senior year..
I was normally a alright weight and I've been trying so hard to just accept myself as I am no matter how much I weighed but I've been trying really hard to work out & try my best to eat right now that I'm back home.
but its so hard sometimes, like just with stuff like the "Dear Fat People" video & tweets I'll see saying "girls over 180 should die" pretty much and its just soo fuckin disheartening even though I try not to let shit like that get to me??? like I'm fucking trying and I'm getting put down by people that don't even know me
It's little stuff like that, that just gets to me?? and just as I was feeling great about losing some belly fat already and shit like that just makes me upset eventually...
Like why even put people down like that just because they weigh a certain amount
I struggle a lot with my body, even when I was a "good weight" because I've been constantly told or looked at like I'm disgusting and stuff that tells me "u have to be this certain weight or ur not attractive!!!!111!!" bullshit, because my belly stuck out a little more or my hips are big
AND I REALLY WISH people wouldn't assume things about others just based on how their body looks and it's so fucked up
My fucking TARGET WEIGHT rn is like 180-175 and I'll still be considered 'gross' just because; like seriously fuck off
Stop talking about people's weight or their body it's fucked up, not everyone can take that kinda shit.
Venting this made me feel better but really I'm kinda mad now lmao
Because there are people out their that feel like they aren't good enough because they've been told they're too fat, too skinny, too whatever!!
JUST please don't listen to them I know I just did but now I'm over it BUT PLEASE just be yourself, don't try to meet some shithead's standard, do things for you and embrace yourself and all that good stuff
-sends positive vibes to everyone and myself lmao-
SORRY THAT RANT WAS SORTA ALL OVER THE PLACE I'M DOING THIS OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD...
edit; YOU ALL ARE SO WONDERFUL, I would reply to every comment but I feel like I'd be repetitive and just say "TRUUU" a lot lmao
BUT I'm reading every comment and I want y'all to know you're all amazing!!!<3333

... big hips are cute .w.
And yeh, you really should ignore that people.
Only reason to ACTUALLY care about weight is:
- If it affects your health.
- If YOU want to look different.
You'll NEVER get people happy. You'll always be too fat, too skinny, to tall, too short, too 'you'.
Be 'you'. Enjoy it. Ignore the whiners.
A big hug from me, and I hope you get to feel better! <3

As long as you're healthy, it shouldn't matter what the number on the scale says <3 Keep on doing what you're doing and as long as YOU'RE happy with your progress, forget what anyone else has to say because they have nothing of value to add (especially internet trolls who have nothing better to do with their time)
Sending you good vibes and good luck on your journey - I'm right there with you!! ;w;(\

Personally, I wouldn't care about how much you weigh. It's irrelevant to what you've shown to others. You're such a kind-hearted sweetpea and you try your best to be positive and happy for others.
If you have a goal you'd like to reach, I hope you reach it. People need to stop looking at the outside of people and look more in. There's a phrase on Facebook saying "real men go for curves. Only dogs go for bones." That's a pile of crap. Real men don't care about appearance. They see what is on the inside.
Hope you have a great week that's left, buds. ^ w ^

When I was in elementary school, my parents put me in this preppy catholic school for a better education. From 2nd to 7th grade, I was pushed down, called names, and made fun of for my weight. Once, this group of girls who were my "friends" (basically someone to make them feel better about themselves) invited me to their birthday party, and ran away from me when I got there. They also told me to stay out of their bedroom and then told me that I shouldn't go to bush gardens with them the next day, but they said to tell the mom I felt sick so they didn't get in trouble for it.
I'm really, really sorry that you struggle with self-confidence issues. It's taken me years to not worry so much about it anymore (after playing sports for all my life I've finally slimmed down). Now, sadly, I am made fun of for my small breasts and petite build, but I have someone in my life who loves me for who I am. I hope you find some peace in at least knowing you're not alone.
Don't stick to the belief that if you are a certain weight, people won't find a reason to tear you down. But at least know that if someone is doing that, it means they want you to feel as bad as they do. Don't give them the pleasure. <3

Oh man girl, I totally feel you. I was the only bigger girl in high school (I went to a REALLY small school lol), and I always felt so awkward about being with girls that were really fit or skinny. Guys never flirted with me or really talked to me as much as the other girls, all because I was a bit more pudgy. It fucking sucked.
Now I'm better about it (even though I've gained a bit more weight, but weirdly I look the same). I've just sorta accepted it, since my body type pretty much sets me at being heavier than normal. I've been exercising though, purely for health.
But for some people it's just not enough for them, even though THEY aren't effected. It's so stupid. I can't even fathom why people care when it's not them.
EITHER WAY MISHA YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL LIL CINNAMON ROLL, DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE!!!! <33333

first off, this pic is adorable....
Secondly, As a woman who struggles with her weight also, I know how you feel and how hard it is to be comfortable in the skin you're in. I've always been bigger and it irritates me when i have super skinny friends going 'man i'm so fat, look at me' and i'm just like ....?
I get really bothered at those posts hating on larger women... It still upsets me but I've really been working on trying to accept me as I am-- i made a new sona a while back that is more like how I am physically to come to terms and be more comfortable. Lose weight and eat healthier for health purposes, sure, but for -me- not for people who think i should look, dress, or act a certain way...
Everyone [by 'everyone' i mean society as a whole and media] says you must be under a certain weight to be attractive, and that is total garbage.... . . . .. .
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

OKKKKK. RANT BELOW.
So what if you're a big girl? It's more to love. And more to hug. And more of you which is amazing because you're amazing? Why would we not want this!
I think you need to ignore the people that don't have any idea of how awesome you are. Just think of it like this:
# You don't ever see there face.
# They have no idea who you are and have never fricking met you.
# You are stronger than you think.
It took me a while to accept me but I just have the ' fuck you ' attitude that if not one likes you for who you are then they shouldn't be your friend to be honest.
I hope you feel better soon love.

I totally understand what you mean! Learning to love your body image is really just a up & down rollercoaster sometimes
and tbh I don't think people can ever be 100% ok with themselves but that's ok!!
And thank you!! Hopefully when I reach that goal I can go to the next goal (160-155) ;v; /

I know it's hard, but those tweets and videos come from truly ignorant fucks who have LITERALLY no people skills. I promise you they aren't friends with anyone decent, they are all over horrible and that's why they're so bitter. You can't be happy if you're *that* fixated on other people's looks.
In highschool, I learned for myself that there is no set way to be physically beautiful, but there *is* a set way to be a decent human being, and because you've felt what is to feel unworthy and not fit the status quo, you know how to treat people and spread a positive energy around. That will always be more important, cliche as it might sound.
People don't pick friends based on looks: they pick fun people, they pick kind people, compatiable people. If you're good, you'll attract good <3
Rude people like the "dear fat people" bitch will never have substantial friends or significant others, unless she adjusts that shitty attitude.
I know this isn't easy, and it's something you have to drill into your own head, but if you keep trying and surround yourself with positive energy and vibes, I promise it'll stick <3
Furaffinity actually helped me love myself :3 all the varying body types made me feel acknowledged in a positive way <3
Also following some body positive blogs on tumblr did a *lot* to inspire me to love myself as I deserved.
If those cretins on twitter can't appreciate you for the lovely creature you are, then you should at least be able to <3
and I'm sure you've got a lot of people ready and waiting behind you to pick you up when you don't feel your most loveable. :3
Best wishes, Poof <33333

Fat-shaming is fucking obnoxious.
I'm scrawny as fuck and I find it stupid.
Sure-- some people find motivation in being belittled, but for the mass majority? Nope. It'll just stress them and either not help or make them worse. :/
Make lots of fruit smoothies-- and make the gym your friend! I'm sure you'll reach your goals if you believe in yourself! <3

i really dont understand how some people think. like "oh if your not super model weight then your ugly" umm.. no, your just a shallow prick that needs to grow up and accept that people come in all shapes and sizes. im not a skinny person but i am decently content with my weight. i dont have a petite body structure and im fine with that. you are probably adorable and have a cute tummy. dont worry about what those people say or think. you are beauty and lovely. dont let them get to you with their shallowness and their unwillingness to accept other people as they are. if you cant wear a size 5 or even 15 then it shouldnt matter. we are all different, structured different, born different, grow differently, etc and there is nothing wrong with having some meat on your bones n.n
GIRL I FEEL YOU.
I have been struggling with my own weight for years, and while I have gotten down from where I was much heavier, I am still 195 and some days I wanna cry. But to make you feel better- my gf whom I love a ton is teeny and chubby and has big ol' hips. I think it's adorable even tho she also hates it. But really it is about feeling good. I make sure to dress supercute (up till recently I bought a -lot- of vintage and pinup stuff bit by bit over the years, it's a little hard to right now haha) and boy has that helped! I never thought it would, but it seems to serve as a distract-o-ray and makes people go "omg cute dress" instead. Note that this may not work for everyone, but it does help me battle my chub-demons.
In fact it helped so much that I went to Dragon Con dressed in a cropped top and mini shorts and never heard a word about "fat" and even got told I was someone's favorite Harley Quinn that weekend.
Try not to let the jerks get to you! We're all here for you and you're cute and adorable and if people say crap remember there is more of you to cuddle and you're much nicer and more awesome than them.
