To her benefit, I guess she was better than sleazebags like Hastert and too-excited-to-be-anything-in-politics-to-be-trustworthy Oberweiss. To have seen the Illinois GOP almost go bankrupt after 2006 was good enough for me. I think the conservative "base" might start to have their heads on a little straighter now, but let's see what they shit out for the 2010 cycle before getting too far ahead of ourselves.
