Ahhhhh! FWA 2013! I remember it was a fun suiting convention. I loved costuming right in the heart of downtown Atlanta where the hotel back steps poured out onto the main downtown street. While the Westin Tower Hotel had its issues, I still had a great time attending this con.

Here's a photo of Manu Koa,  galesmilax and  eaglebeagle, taken with Gale's camera inside of the Dealer Den. *smiles* It's amazing how many attendees light up at the sight of the costumers. I'm humbled by the idea that so many people love Manu and want to have their picture taken with the red-crested cardinal. It was also great meeting up with Eagle Beagle for this picture. I love his costume -- it's so cute! I've never seen a bald eagle be combined with a beagle, but I think it works in this case. Look at how happy EagleBeagle's face is! What is there NOT to love? And it looks like Gale himself (the human in the middle) is having the time of his life, at FWA 2013.

It's amazing to look back at these convention photos and be reminded of a time when you can shed away your human existence to be a walking, costumed bird!

Mmmmmmm. I miss costuming very much! It'd be another two months before I could attend my next con -- MFF 2015. See you then!
