I'd been tweaking the idea a little over time... the earliest ones had spots everywhere, but no definite separation from hair and fur, or actual "hair"... I thought my design needed some, so I tried added hair, but then I quickly missed having the spots. X3 Sooo, it's a little of both. You'll see it's in the "simple" coloring too. :)
