Favourite foods: Ice cream, gelato, sorbet, frozen yogurt, shakes, frozen dinners right out of the packet, anything cold and frozen.
'Lumi' also means snow in Finnish. :D

Backstory

Little Lumi originated after the war, born in the early 1200's in what is now known as Wuyuan County, located in the Jiangxi province of China. She was born in a mountainous forest but in the years before she hatched, the combination of her parents powers of water and ice froze the forest around her egg, making it snow almost constantly and turned the forest into a state of endless winter. When she hatched, she was adopted by a herd of mountain goats who raised her and adopted her as one of their own even though she did look a little bit weird to them.
In the coming years and centuries that followed, Lumi taught herself to control her powers in her snowy home and would often visit the village on the outskirts of the forest and entertain children and adults alike with her snow, ice and water abilities. She would stay for hours, playing games of hide and seek and many others with the children but would also led her healing abilities to the sick or injured. She did end up attaching to a very sick girl who went by the name of 'Anxi' who she did save and would visit the village every single day to make sure she was doing okay.
However, on a slightly warm Spring evening was when something happened that Lumi would always remember. Anxi followed her into the forest without Lumi's knowledge but ended up getting lost and unfortunately ended up passing away among the snow covered trees that night. Heartbroken, the Dutch Angel Dragon found her body the next morning and took Anxi back to the village to her distraught parents but tragically could not bring her back.
Instead of the townspeople being upset and mad at Lumi, they came up with an idea so such a thing would never happen again. They attached a large chiming bell to Lumi's left horn so lost people could locate where she was and whenever a traveler would come to forest to explore, the villagers would give them a bright lantern and a small bell of their own attached to it. They would then tell the traveler;
"If you ever stray off the path and lose your way, ring the bell and the child of the frozen forest will find you and bring you back home."

In those days since, the forest has not claimed another life.

As for how Lumi met Pompeii, they crossed paths in 1556 when the Shaanxi earthquake hit China as Pompeii has sensed and foreseen the impending doom and flew to China to try to save lives but had little success. After the disaster, Pompeii happened upon Lumi's forest and attempted to eat a mountain goat which Lumi did not take kindly to at all and attacked her to get the other dragon away from her family. It is a rare thing for Lumi to be violent at all, but hurt someone she considers family you deserve those horns. Eventually, Lumi settled down and was confused as Pompeii tried to tell her that they were the same species. Over the coming months, Pompeii took interest in Lumi's powers and taught her more control which in turn, unlocked her earth powers and to Pompeii's immense surprise, the fellow Dutch Angel Dragon didn't know how to fly and thus, taught her how with some difficulty.
When it was time for Pompeii to leave, Lumi decided to join her in her travels; wanting to see more of the world outside of her frozen land.
