The punching bag shook violently, rocking back and forth from the blows that struck it. The source of the attack, a hedgehog named Takeda, stepped back and paused, fists raised. She watched the bag as it rocked and his fingers clenched. Again he attacked, his fists becoming a blur as he delivered blow after blow in quick succession. Every now and then Takeda would spin, throwing a kick into the mix, his foot thumping the bag with a satisfying thud. The sweat dripped from his brow as the hedgehog trained hard. Once more he paused, bouncing on the spot to dodge imagined strikes from an opponent. Takeda drew in a deep breath and moved, launching a fresh attack. His fists pummeled the bag, and the chain holding it up creaked. A link began to open, the strain too much, and with a solid punch, Takeda watched the bag fly back, lose from it's moorings. It hit the floor hard, the top splitting open and spilling the sand inside. Takeda chuckled. It was not the first time he had ruined a punching bag, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. It was simply the price he knew he had to pay for a good solid workout...
