I want to thank everyone who tuned in this evening for the first Picarto dress rehearsal stream. There are a couple of little technical hiccups that need addressing, but not having ads interrupting folks stream was so nice!

Since it was a short stream this evening, 90 minutes, I didn't have much time to draw so after talking with folks and showing off a new piece of that I'll be posting soon I decided to take a request. I forget who but some recommended that I draw a female character that was inspired by a famous cocktail. In this case it was the Manhattan. I thought that sounded neat so then we started brainstorming what Manhattan would be like personality wise. Then someone else said they imagined her being a torch singer. That was all I needed and this is the result. Considering I had only about 1 hour and 15 minutes to work in, came out alright.

I will admit I found the idea intriguing and I'm now tempted to do some of these. Maybe even do a few as color.
