"Oh no! It's a fire breathing DRAGON!" Cassie exclaimed, as she grabbed the closest fire extinguisher and did her best to eliminate the threat.
It has always been on my bucket list to use a fire extinguisher. Not on a real fire, because that would be scary, but I wanted to know what it's like to empty such a device for fun. And I did; I, too, had the pleasure to play around with this fire extinguisher in fursuit. Let me tel you one thing: IT'S AWESOME!

Powder would probably have damaged a suit beyond repair :) Safety First, always! I have experience with CO2 from the entertainment industry so we were well prepared. We also asked the Fire brigade commander to supply us with the correct materials needed to perform this act.
And... it was epic!

No, the extinguisher contained only CO2 gas. That's no dangerous as long as you don't spray anyone with it from close range because it's -70 or colder when it comes out. But at 2 meters distance or more it's nice and cool for fursuiters :)
Also, CO2 is not oxygen, so it's not very nice breathing it. We kept to short bursts for show effect and photos. Using it for longer periods of time could cause suffocation.
As always, safety first, we made sure we knew what we were using and got proper safety instructions from the fire brigade commander :) And then.... then we had an amazing time showing a few hundred kids a cool show!
