An artwork has risen from the virtual Grave…OoOooOoooooo…scary!
Well actually this is a long…long, long, two year long overdo trade with
GH-Mongo a picture of his character, Burlow Bristleback. For his half, he did ‘http://www.furaffinity.net/view/282745/’ Harold Gruffmane, a character form the somewhat defunct ‘Slave Gym’ saga…well it’s not really a saga since sagas usually have some closure.
But anywho, Yea it was a big, big friggin’ deal this whole thing, at the time I was positively thrilled to have gotten a chance to do this with him. It’s still overly thrilling, only now I’m slightly bummed about taking so long when originally all the flats were done ages ago, the shading just needed to be done and I never got around to it. But I really like GH, he’s a fabulous guy, a hardworking artist who’s currently lumbering through an artists school. I don’t feel he’s quite as renowned as he should be here, but on DA he’s an absolute star…I dare you to look up ‘dwarf’ on there without finding his ‘Myrmidom’ guy several times.
He’s got this icon too that’s really adorable, I just want to hop into the computer and hug the hell out of it…I actually tried one but just slammed my head into the computer screen and got a nasty headache, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
But here’s hoping he isn’t –too- sore this took so long, and he likes what I’ve done…cheers folks!

Oh how I KNOW that feeling, it took me forever to get where I am, and even when you find a style you like, you still want more, more, MORE!!! It's an everlasting process that never really ends, that's sort of the beauty of artwork, there's always some other way to do it...learning how is a bitch though.
There's something interesting about him. It's like everything is bigger than it should be, but at the same time, proportioned in such a way that it doesn't seem to be problematic, like it's supposed to be that way. Love the striped shorts too. Gents look great in vertical stripes.
Yea that's actually something I struggle with, making a character that's not proportioned the way a 'normal' character would be, yet making it look right. Kind of like those cartoon characters that have a ginormous upper body, and those teeny tiny short legs, I LOVE that look, but it's next to enar impossible for me to do without digging up some old cartoon reference for it. Thanks for the kudos though, I'm glad someone else appreciates that look!
