I think it's really nice! The shadow on the grass is a good detail.

Since I myself have this totally anal craving (anal craving... that doesn't sound right) for strong and well-defined lineart, I would've given the horsies darker outlines to make them stand out from the background. But that's just me. :)

I was really drawn towards dark outlines for the horses as well, but given that horses don't have dark line art in real life, I deliberately tried to make it more realistic. But I'm not really satisfied with the whole picture anyway. My other coloured drawings are much better.

An alternative option is to gradually darken the coloring of the figures around the edges, I suppose. Like uh, like in um, late renaissance art. I think it's funny that when you look at something like, uh... Van Eyck, even he seems to use "lineart" of sorts because the color areas are so finely defined. Areas on the shadow side have a dark lining while the areas on the light side are not so strictly separated from each other.
