I've been going through a lot lately. More than I want to admit. I'm doing better, but I have felt this way for a while now and I had to draw it. I drew this months ago, before my surgery and I feel like it pertains to my situation more now than it has been.

So many things come to mind with this rendition. Like someone's got your back, but it looks kinda heavy. And that the protection only is complete, when you curl up or hug another person with the same kind of spikes. Then there's the crystals' obvious beauty, but they only seem to grow in places, you cannot see yourself. Also had to think of Jennifer D. Reitz's UnicornJelly universe, where organic beings are constantly threatened of being devoured by anorganic crystaline life. Definitely one of the more interesting pictures on FA.
