Synopsis: Every now and then, a reptile outgrows its scaly skin and has to shed it to make way for the new layer. In the world of anthros, this is no less necessary-- so what does it feel like? See through the eyes of someone whose molting day has come.
First time I've uploaded the same story to DeviantART and here on the same day. This seemed like an appropriate thing to share in both places.
That bit about eating the shed skin wasn't something I made up. Lizards actually do that... or so I read on Wikipedia.
