Colored myself one on the rough base before work yesterday, this is Witte! He ended up polar opposite colors of what I had originally planned, but that's okay haha.
Also throwing in some species info, because you can never have enough of that shit. The World Enders are slightly different in their lore from my other detailed species, in that I kind of gave them the option of having a more 'casual' existence for people who don't like to work with a hard mythology. It doesn't erase their base function, but it does offer the choice for a character more able to easily involve with other species on a playful level, rather than trying to work with a strict lore that may limit character interaction/growth. Of course, the base lore is still available for people who like to work with a more heavy based background too. Or mix them up and use both!
THE WORLD ENDERS
Lo, can you hear them! The trumpets of the heavenly hounds, the end times are nigh!
The World Enders are a frightful bunch despite their tiny stature, for nobody wishes to witness the end of things - but everything must end, be it a precious moment in our lives, a long kindled relationship that no longer serves us, or an existence simply ready to be put to rest. Nothing can last forever, and the World Enders serve to harken the end times on multiple scales in the name of keeping worldly balance. With each Ender's boisterous trumpeting, they retire the old and welcome the new. Lo, to be born again! The World Enders, Tender Death Bringers, Softeners of Spirits, bring with them a fresh chapter after their world shattering calls.
-MYTHIC LORE: ADVANCED MODE-
Though they frighten many with their duties, the World Enders are not a malicious bunch. They exist to keep the balance, and to turn over the old in preparation for the new. They will come to individuals at pivotal points in their lives to start a new cycle, or en masse to harken the end of all things. They have touched many people, and seen many worlds. They seem to answer to no higher power, simply having come into existence by chance to establish much needed balance. Each Ender is blessed with a winged banner which serves as their trumpet, and may be either worn when not in use or summoned at will.
-PET LORE: CASUAL MODE-
While they do not appear to work for one sole entity, the World Enders are adored by other heavenly and mythic beings for their ways and small forms, and have no qualms about being kept as companions or pets. So as not to interfere with their duties, Enders kept as pets usually cycle between periods of retirement in order to be pampered by their owners, and going out to do their job. While in their retirement periods, they like to cause trouble for their masters by announcing the ends of minuscule and unimportant events (the world's worst alarm clocks). The keepers are used to their companions going away for periods of time, but are always happy to have their bothersome darlings back.
World Enders are affectionate among themselves, though they will not let others handle their banners casually. The swapping of banner horns is a sign of trust in each other, and a moment to be treasured. They communicate to each other telepathically, but some have taken to speaking (especially those who double as pets). They are also quite fond of other heavenly species, especially those larger than themselves, and love to be pampered. Most have no qualms about being taken in as pets, but there are also many who refuse to be tied down and prefer a life of working over a life of playtime.
While they get on well with each other and higher species, the World Enders do not like being involved with humans beyond their job. They find them slightly repulsive and riddled with strange miasmas, and their bodies do not react well to extended physical contact from them.
Beneath their tightly closed headwings is a small pair of pointed ears, which they rarely reveal due to how sensitive they are. It's said that they can hear the sins of humanity, and so they will never reveal their ears to a human for fear of going deaf and mad. Their rear wings range from 4 to 6, and their tails may be either non existent, short, or long and flowing. Their tails do not grow over time, and they are devastated if their hair is cut. Some World Enders have a pair of fleshy or keratinous horns upon their heads, but it is slightly less common. The max height for Enders is about 5 feet, but very rarely taller ones have existed.

late reply because I am a loserrrr.
The wings are purely aesthetic, the Enders are capable of flight but its through levitation. The wings can move independent of each other however, so they double as an emotive aspect.
Their summons is kind of a crap-shoot for them in my current brain-canon, where it's kind of like an internal rhythm that just happens. They have no exact idea what/where they are being summoned to until they actually get there, so they could be ending something small or an entire country for all they know haha. They have mild warning signs of an incoming job, like hearing bells and their banner acting up though, so there is some awareness of what's going on.
For the case of temporary retirement periods, also in wobbly brain canon rn, it probably has something to do with their banners which are sort of semi-sentient and able to act on their own. They probably have a way to bargain with their banner for time off haha.
DUMPIN INFORMATION ON YOU sorryyyy
