themnax also wonders why, companies that make diffferent kinds of trains in different parts of the world, mostly only want to sell, the kinds of trains that are in the parts of the world they sell them in. or why humans mostly want to buy the same kinds of trains that are in the parts of the world they live in themselves.
there are more pink rolling stock. just not a lot more. there is also pink model paint though. and decales. i'm guessing a cayden who knows about gar graves and williams track, knows about these things too.

one of the articulated buses, that run on the one route in the town where i live that has articulated buses, that are usually painted white with a little green and blue, has been painted pink. i'm not sure why, but i think it has something to do with promoting some kind medical research.

Oh! I know someone who drinks this stuff all the time that has a logo on the can like the one on the boxcar, though the font is slightly different...

Also they say that if they ever get space for O-scale stuff they want some fancy aquarium car they saw once even though it's noisy and the combined weight and power draw from it slows the whole train way down... (Just checked, apparently it's this one...)

I've seen that aquarium car. i think those are really meant for displays on the layout. whereas you press something and watch the animation. although, if you have a good enough transformer maybe the train can handle the aquarium. :)

Lionel didn't sell too many trains for girls.

Well, they tried. But the pastel colored trains just didn't sell.

It would have been better for business if they hadn't. The average girl who would be into trains as a pastime, is into them for the same reasons that boys are into them. Nostalgia is one word that comes to mind.

Well, according to their experience (in the 50s I think), girls weren't into trains for whatever reason. Yes, the regular colors would be fine. I guess they just wanted a unique product.

Actually, their profits were dropping off due to a decreasing interest in cowboys and an increasing interest in outer space. It's all thanks to Sputnik. During that period also created train cars that launched satellites and stuff like that. That was also a mistake.
