Shaila Branford, es una poderosa y despiadada CEO, de una importante trasnacional dedicada al investigación de farmacología y tecnológica cibernética. Sin embargo secretamente se dedica a desarrollar armas y venderlas personas de dudosa ética. En el peor de los casos financia asesinatos y conflictos bélicos según sean sus intereses y frecuentemente contrata supervillanos que hagan el trabajo sucio, por lo que nunca ha sido vinculada a ningún acto ilícito y mantiene su buena publicidad.
Posee una inteligencia muy alta, y una compleción atlética usando un variante más violenta del kick boxing. Aunque no tiene súper poderes, su intelecto y recursos ilimitados además de que al ojo público ella está "limpia" la vuelven, un enemigo extremadamente difícil de enfrentar.
