Diana Vin-Belle is a brilliant engineer/inventor/roboticist, but she also has leanings toward criminality - specifically stealing technology - new and ancient - to further her own technological aspirations.
Diana's species doesn't have legs - her planet of origin is covered in water so she has to make use of prosthetic legs to get about in non-aqueous environments, also her wet suit prevents her skin from drying out. Her robotic exosuit - Beak - also helps her get around and cause mischief.
My original intent for Diana has always been for her to have prosthetic legs, but I've had moments of uncertainty about that - hence the version with organic legs here.
Though Diana is intended to be the main villain/rival in just one of my story projects - I've actually found her to be one of those characters who can fit into a lot of different projects/story ideas. I can see myself writing stories a lot of stories for her in the future - ones where she may very well be the main/lead character.

What is it with dolphins stealing tech these days? You have that stated here for her and the artist Dnapalmhead did the same for the one in his Flex paid comic series (though technically Roblec is a spy) is there something I am missing? Granted I like the fact of her suit and that she is an inventor though I gather she goes up against your orca character?
I'll have to look up on that character you've mentioned.
Real-life dolphins are notoriously intelligent so I guess it's not unexpected for them to be anthropomorphised into mad scientists or inventors - and that's only a step away from being a mad scientist or inventor that *steals* technology to further their interests.
