(yes I know spiders aren't bugs but 'arachnify' doesn't have the same ring)

Heeeee, awesome to see a spider! Don't you worry Mr. Fox, you'll see it's a wonderful thing! ^^u^^
Also, being one myself, personally I'm totally ok with being called a "bug"! I personally consider that term to be an all-encompassing term for arthropods in general. "Insect" however, now that's wrong! X3

All the spiders I know are very nice people, so I have no doubt he'll be in good company. :D
It's interesting from an entomological standpoint because "bugs" in science actually only refers to a certain group (Hemiptera) of what we consider bugs. But it does tend to work as a catch-all colloquially. "Insects" is definitely wrong for spiders, but I tend to tag that for them anyway because not everybody knows the difference :P

Heheh, that's why they've had to add the word "true" when referring to those true bugs! They're really cute though, ahhhh!
I've always nursed the idea of getting a bugify me pic of going from spider to coreidae, though I wonder if that may be odd, considering you'd be bugifying a bug!

They're definitely cute. I love cicadas in particular from that order. :D
Heck, if you wanted to do that, we could definitely do that! I don't see why one couldn't get bugified into a different bug. I don't think I've drawn any coreidae yet, either, so it'd be fun!

I dunno, entomologists might beg to differ! I find there's some variation in the colloquial use as well regionally. It's an interesting bit of language that seems to come up a lot when spiders are drawn. :)
