The Ramshead Class Fleet Defender was rapidly pushed into service by Rocketdyne during the Earth-Minbari War, with the first five of the class being launched on the one year mark for the beginning of the war. The design is meant to protect high target Earth Alliance vessels during battle. She only carries 7 starfuries and one crew shuttle to save space for the generators required to power her weapon systems.
