I've voted for Krystal to be in months back, hope she does get in, and hopefully she might make the cut for future smash games by being on the main roster like Falco has been.

This was mostly just a response to the Krystal hate in the channel

I honestly don't understand why Krys gets so much hate, the way Adventures turned out wasn't her fault, it was Miyamoto's for opening his big yap and screwing over what possibly could've been the next Legend Of Zelda but told through Krys' perspective, one question of mine is if Krys does get into smash, what era of her design are they gonna be using? Adventures era, Assault era, Command era, post Command era as Kursed, maybe finally start implementing alternate outfits since it is a fighting game and fighting games have a history with using alternate outfits and color schemes. But in all seriousness, why is she hated so much? I've never understood the hate given to her when it wasn't even her fault she got screwed over in her own game.

My vote was for Krystal. They could honestly make her another staff-user, of which the game is sorely limited in (only Palutena, where we have like... 8 sword users? Yeah...) Anyway, I think she could be in, and have a unique moveset.

Anyway, I guess we'll see who gets in. Honestly hoping we don't end up with something like Shovel Knight. Frankly, I don't much care for that game, and I feel it's highly overrated. Also, no Rayman. Seriously, Ubisoft has given Nintendo the shaft REPEATEDLY this gen, so I honestly don't see any reason Nintendo should give them special treatment.

Otherwise, just gonna hope Krystal gets in~ (Also hoping that Wolf returns as a veteran fighter...)

Honestly, I like Krystal, but I hate her in star fox. such a shame that Miyamoto basically forced RARE to scrap Dinosaur Planet and remake it as Starfox Adventures.

However a Role Model, eeeh Not the most positive one based on the cannon in my opinion. Though as for females I'd say I loved Legion Commander Dresdan from Dota2, Korra from the sequel to that Avatar Series, as the Ice queen from Frozen.

Can Krystal be a good character, No doubt she had it back when it was going to be Dinosaur Planet, with her brother Saber (whom never even seen the light of day).

But in all honesty I think people like her for the exotic design she added to the universe.

She's a girl who pilots a combat fighter on the front lines with the rest of the team.

Given that the rest of Nintendo's famous females (except samus) are usually relegated to getting kidnapped by bad-guy-du-jour. I'd say she's one of Nintendo's better choices for a female role model.

Other Good Nintendo Females:
Midna - Strong female character, fights Ganondorf to the death instead of being kidnapped
Isabelle - Holds down a 9-5 and does her job with pride
Samus - Pretty obvious one
Lucina - Actually fights stuff. Nuff said.

Beyond that there's... not really a lot.

Umn what about every female protag in Fire Emblem not in Smash? The Last Guardian, half the command in every entry in advance wars, Princess Peach when playable, Rosalina is god of if not a planeswalker of the Mario Universe

Aside from Rosalina and peach, I would not call any of those famous nintendo icons. I mean, I'm glad they're there. But they're not... that prominant.

I like crystal, and always thought that if any nintendo female should have a game of her own, it was her.

As for strong women characters well, the problem I have with strong women characters in a lot of things is that the are either MAN WITH BEWBS, ridiculously sexual or biggots. or all three.

If Krystal ever gets to be in Smash 5 (Rare's tenuous status with Nintendo tells me likely not…) I hope that her flight suit from the later games is her default look, with the dumb Glamazon Huntress AD bikini being an alt costume at the very most. Also Tricky needs to be her Final Smash.

I already know what this has to do with, for those who dont know, there's a guy on there who believes anyone who likes the character isn't a true fan, yet despite me and a few others calling his ass out for being wrong with counterarguments to prove, he just deletes our comments and blocks us. Just like a certain blue bear does, in fact the entire situation felt like it because we were being reasonable about it, and like the one guy that argued why Dobson was wrong about his opinion on the DiC cartoons in his comic, he just didnt listen to reason and does that, and the guy's 29 to boot. I mean i'm a few years younger than him and even i'm not that retarded, let alone autistic over what new things the series offered beyond that overrated trash he still jerks it over.

The only game I will say is bad is Command, but i'm pretty sure everyone will agree to that, it's basically the Other-M of the series except it came before it.

Congratulations, you win for not knowing about Tom Preston, he's notorious even around here. To put it bluntly, both he and the guy on miiverse share the same trait in that they block anyone that disagrees with their opinions, and act very smug in their ego, he's the prime example of an individual you dont want to be. He has a blue bear as his self insert.

And let's face it: Ms. Pac-Man was only made to appeal to drag queens. Don't even get me started on Battle Toads. Honestly, the juvenile belligerence of the 'gaming community' makes me sort of glad I'm not very community-oriented. "Hey, let's find a pedantic argument to inflict misery over!"

I'm a bit of a balance person, I see her as a fair role model and sex symbol, like Samus Aran, Felicia the catgirl, or Tifa Lockheart.
