Today is me and Tina Bear's 5th Wedding Anniversary! It's so amazing to think how long we took to become legally married, but I'm glad we did.
The wedding was at the County Courthouse with only a handful of family and friends who could make it for the occasion. I even had to work the day of my wedding and the day after due to obligations put on me by my employer. However, the day was as magical as if it were a full out ceremony.
Tina and I have been a couple since December 14th, 2002. We had so hoped to have a big wedding, but so many things happened in life that it just was not to be. Neither of us would have it any other way. Especially our son who was born in 2007 to the disgust of North Carolina's feelings on having a child out of wedlock.
Thanks everyone for being such a wonderful support to me and my family.

Thanks so much, dear friend. *Huggles and Dances* Tina and I celebrated yesterday since she had to work today, but I can't help but share how glad I am we finally tied-the-knot. It wasn't fancy, it wasn't showstopping, but it was done and I'm glad to join our pal,
mjbear, in celebrating such an occasion.
I hope life has been treating you well. I am so behind on so many things due to other obligations, surprise responsibilities, etc. However, you are always there in my mind as someone who helped me be happy and positive to where I can be the best I can be each day for my wife and son. *Hugs*

I can't believe it myself. It does show when you find the right friend who you know you wish to share the rest of your life with it can and will work if you both equally do your best. She's had challenges, I've had challenges, our son has had challenges, but we prevail through our determination to ensure we all stay together and succeed.
It is through my wife I learned the true value of "Trust" and "Communication" being cornerstones of a relationship. Trust means you don't get jealous nor worry since you implicitly know the other cares for you and would never hurt you intentionally through words, or actions. The communication is knowing we are both open and don't hide anything. She has full access to all my accounts online and vice-a-versa. :)

I also notice that the fursona faces for some reason look a lot like you. I know what you look like from the comparison meme and I have no idea what you wife looks like yet for some reason she looks like her. It must be more of a character thing that you can sense in the characters.
It also doesn't hurt that the artist, Nishi, is very close to me and had come to know my wife for two years before we were married. He didn't need to see much of her to know how to make such a beautiful fursona to show how we'd be if our lives were in a world of infinite possibility. :)
The fact you are that good with your eyes to spot things like this means even more of how you'd make an excellent film maker, costume designer, set designer, or even Director. Your attention to detail is astounding!

Nishi and I have sadly never had a chance to meet in real life. He lives on the West Coast and I'm with you here on the East Coast. 3,000 miles of continent definitely make meeting up rough. However, i do plan to make it happen someday.
I met Nishi through a friend named
wingdedhamham. She had some of his work on display in her favorites. She also said how, like her and I, he was a fan of the show [i]Hamtaro[/i[. When I saw his avatar at the time was Oxnard, my favorite character from the show, I was ecstatic!
We've been friends for nearly seven years now. He helped me through one of the worst times in my life in 2012 by taking a lot of time out of his day to text me while I was laid up in the hospital. I'd have gone mad without him distracting me from how I was totally blind at the time and trapped 200 miles away from my family.

Hamtaro was an amazing series that didn't get enough love here in the States. Lots of non-violent, cute, and clever adventures. The show is the model in which I've tried to base my own writing off of. It's not mind-numbing and requires no violence to entertain. Similar shows, to me, are "Pocket Dragon Adventures", "Dragon Tales", "captain Flamingo", and "MLP: Friendship is Magic". :)
My wife hasn't talked with Nishi. My wife is mostly on Facebook. :)
