I could say Jack's boisterous attitude struck me as close to Rainbow Dash's, but the truth is that Jack's proportions fit very neatly with the way I like drawing Dash. It was also easier to adapt her mane into a hybrid hairstyle that'd let Jack's head tattoos be on display while maintaining Dash's iconic mane colors.
I was kinda dreading having to do all the tattoos, but it was actually her boots that gave me the most challenge when working on this one.
