Tyson, the raccoon, and his "guardian demon" Trace, the ermine, have found themselves standing in a crop circle made into a corn field in the outskirts of Boone, Iowa. Tyson's bracelet, or Solomonic collar, is reacting peculiarly to the energy within the center. The collar is not only acting as a beacon for an alien craft, but the blue light being cast by the bracelet is also negatively affecting Trace. It's almost like this alien artifact is repelling Trace as an evil spirit. The ermine may be a reformed villain, but he's still a demon at heart.
