Christophe Rossini: French-Monegasque-resident fox who drives like he's Italian and comes with the the archetypal condescension towards Americans. How he's a protagonist is beyond me.

Adrian Nuñez (Marquez): Wanted to do Indycar as a kid. Now fears the idea of racing a DW12. Is perfectly fine with anything that has a canopy though. Secretly crushes on Christophe for "son of idol" reasons.

Tony Vaulkoenen: Raised around the truck transportation industry. Daddy's money got him into racing. Doesn't drive like it did though.
Sofia: Like Tony, but you already know her story (and her preference for big men)
