heh, there certainly is. this guy has a lot of story, haha.

Oh tell me more o:

oh gosh, i don't even know where to start with him, haha... he's been around for at least six years? grown a lot in that time, like a real person i think you'd have to know him for that long to really know him... seeing as i apply multiverse theory to my characters/stories, he doesn't really have a canon since it's all canon, haha. in the 'main' storyline, though, he plays as the angel of death.
with that being the case, i suppose it's more pertinent to try and tell you about his personality and whatnot. he's not very healthy mentally right now (my fault; i've been in a bad state myself), so i would say that his primary personality trait is being self-sacrificial. he's also very loyal, charismatic, intelligent, and brave. he tries to maintain a calm exterior, but is very passionate, which can come out sometimes for good or bad. some of his bad traits are cowardice, vindictiveness, being manipulative and controlling.
as far as physical traits go, when he's in a universe in which he has the ability he lacks genitalia and a lot of secondary sex characteristics (and sometimes doesn't even bother with nips or a bellybutton, haha), but still has a (very) deep voice and a nice broad set of shoulders, haha (and obvs prefers male pronouns). likes to dress very nicely, looks (and can act like) a snobby old man with his nice suits and shiny shoes and whatnot. tends to be thin, pallid, and generally unhealthy looking though he has the potential for building up a muscled physique. he's definitely more of a mental person than a physical one; he likes secrets, he likes being very mentally close to people. he tends to be very physically intimate as another way of achieving closeness but is not sexual when in a good state (Azzes that have something very wrong with them can become sexual sadists at their worst).

heh, well, there's a bit of a lame summary on him... anything else you'd like to know?

First; Sorry for taking so long to reply, I don't like being in FA unless I'm in a computer and not my mobile device, very hard to manage truly.

And second I'm really interested in this guy now :| like he's super interesting and the fact he has a multiversic lookout makes it all the more interesting, I have a character whom is practically the same but he's an oddball anyway. It sounds mostly like he's the kind of person one would like to sit and have a conversation with. Sounds super interesting.

I'm wondering, if he's completely gender-aloof /with a preference to being/looking male etc/ is it that the same way with the partners he encounters? What are his other universes like?

i'm torn between saying no you don't because he is a boring manchild and yes you do because he has become a rather impressive being in the past few years, really moved up in the world
(by 'he' i mean the main one, the head honcho, the boss Az)

as far as partners, i'd say he's 99%... gynromantic? into women, in any case. i guess (to get all spiritual n shit) with him being a masculine energy he tends towards a female one to balance it out.
in every universe he has that counterpart, at least at first. a woman (or girl, or cat, or whatever fits) named Seraphim, Sera for short. to be honest, she's a bit of a mystery to us both; for a while her sole purpose was sacrifice, to be the one to take the fall to launch that Azrael into whatever development he needs to go through. however, she's been becoming a bit dissatisfied with that lot (i'm sure you know the feeling of a character rebelling, haha). which is actually a bit threatening since she is smarter and more ruthless than he could ever be. he's probably going to have to start making stories where he is the one to die; would probably be good for him anyways.

as my word choice probably hints at, whatever universe/story he features in isn't totally isolated from the others. there's the 'highest' Az, the big one, whose story is set in this world, to sort of be a friend in my head. he fully realizes his state as something not quite real, something in some dumb girl's head. he is connected to all the other stories, and they all feed into him. where one grows, he grows, but in the end his choices and his developments are still his own. he is someone that was always there, even if i didn't quite realize it.
a bit below him is the original Angel!Azrael. he is connected to and aware of all the others, and sometimes sticks his nose into the business of the lower ones. he loves trying to manage things to make a happy ending for everyone.
and then there's all the others. very few of them are aware of their role in the greater scheme of things; their sight doesn't go beyond their universe (unless of course Angel!Az decides to butt in and nag them for doing a piss poor job of bettering themselves, helping people, etc.)

That's actually pretty interesting to think about, I have a character whom is practically the same way, he is the embodiment of my mind so it's pretty rad to find someone like me with a character whom is existent in many universes but has very different stories on every single one, I base myself on the String Theory to help myself, he's basically a bitter ageless god of death that is not actually the god of death he's incredibly odd tbh
