Life is a convuluted turn of events that shape and mold our lives, from every day events to life time events, from holes in the wall to the spidering crack of a weathered window. With it, Life brings many challenges that build our character like, victories won over the hardships of trial and patience, anger over disappointed turn of events and fustrations, happiness from encounters with others that bring warmth and bliss of feeling, and of course, sadness from heart breaks, loss and various other possibilities; Life as it is, has no true form, malleable by the way we shape our own lives and condition it, it'll make itself known to ones very existence in its own way which is good for some and... terrible for others. Sometimes it mixes both, sometimes it favors one side but one thing that remains true about it, is that what it brings into our lives are things we have limited control of, unable to avoid or push away that which we don't want or accepting of the things that come.
For one Dragoness, she was feeling the effects that had taken place a couple of years ago, a welling of sadness that she had troubles accepting and getting over with ease and frankly, who would blame her for her feeling? Instead of looking for others for aid and burdening them with her feelings or so she thought, on such a particular day of rememberance, she made her way out to the only place she knew where she'd be secluded and away from the eyes and knolwedge of others though it seemed the day had decided that it was going to shine on her feelings alone. Resting in the meadows of a nearby forest, the Dragoness had seated herself among the curves of the hills, holding onto the box she had brought with her, sturdy and extraordinary in its make, guilded and polished to give it shine, this little box was worth more to her then anything she could possibly trade and with reason.
Held within, were the ashes of a mother who had left the plains of the living to transcend to the otherside, to over look her child and watch as she grew. To the Dragoness, this was one of the saddest days of the year that would repeat itself for as long as she'd remain upon the plains of the earth herself; As the feelings and rememberance of her mother flooded the Dragoness' mind and heart, the sky would respond in much the same manner, hiding the tears that flowed from the eyes of the Dragoness as she clutched the box close to her chest, squeezing it as tight as she could with gentle care so not to hurt the box. She missed her mother, not just once every year but with every day that passed and on days such as this that reminded her more of her deceased mother, the feelings were more overwhelming then one could could imagine.
As the storm grew and the rain began to come down harder, the Dragoness becoming lost in her thoughts and feelings of depression, the sky would light up with the cracks of life as lightning struck down, booming loudly and sturring a wind that rustled through the tree's, ceasing to block the wind that would soar through her body as the Dragoness held the box a little closer so it would escape her grasp. Slowly, she was becoming to welcome the fact that the storm was the bitter reflection of her heart and mind for what the day held for her, depression sinking in quicker then it should have as the tiny voice that called out within her for help began to fade and fade.. only to be given new life as something sturred from the otherside of the hill.
Looking up from hunched position as the mix of yellow and orange light began to grow and climb over the hill, the Dragoness would watch as it mixed with her vision, the dark world she was becoming adjusted to, was slowly filling with light and the cold atmosphere that had been about her, slowly began to heat as she looked to the source and when she adjusted to the light, her eyes widened in surprise to find what the source of light was exactly...
