Synia is an old dragoness, one from a long history of abuse, seduction, hardships and struggle. She grew up not knowing who or what she was. Being a slave with a temper got her many lashings. It was only during an uprising did she find out that she was a dragon. In that moment she rose up, figured out and was trained by Tiny and went on to bigger and better things.
