I like FiM Fiction since it allows me to keep the formatting I use when I write. I could upload a .DOC or .RTF file, but that just adds another step. Moreover it is not often fun for people to download a file from a site for fear of a virus, or something else.
Needless to say this story was written in less than two hours with editing done using the screen reader, JAWS. It is a story that needed to be written and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I personally needed to write it.

It makes me very happy to hear that, Ari. Much of this story was nothing more than me reminding myself of truths I need to accept. Spike being the fictional vessel to illustrate how I'm more than my perceived circumstance. :)
This story really helped, so I'm hopeful to return to "Fallen Angel" as soon as I can. I refuse to write it unless I know I am at my best for it deserves nothing short of my best. :)

Truly, the fault lies in lack of education along with apathy towards people's feelings and emotions. So long as treat psychological pain as a joke instead of a serious, life-altering injury we will never stop the sort of violence we get from people wanting to take up arms to have themselves heard.
and what is really infuriating, I did not earn of this accusation until yesterday (I was out of it monday due to surgery)

The problem, well another problem, is how nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions. Everybody is quick to assign blame, but never quick to step up and mention how they could've been cause for the situation if not the primary reason it happened. The lack of accountability is quite frustrating to say the least.
I'm so happy you enjoyed the story Leon. There was a lot of me that made this story what it is. However, I wanted to make sure Spike could help me realize not to dwell on those things that do nothing more than make me, or as I feel even him, feel down.
That's an interesting idea for a story. Let me know when you write it and I'll hopefully get to reading it ASAP. The idea most certainly could make you think of how deep psychological injury can infect someone's beliefs with, or without, them knowing it.

It took a while but I finally figured out how to view the story! Just the plain green link. B) Phew.
I'm glad your work got some attention this time! A lot of us might feel bad or uncared for since we don't really hear about how people appreciate us or how much better they are because of something we did. People have lots of little thoughts they don't share or remember to. That's why it's necessary to be confident and know you're cared for, and make sure to do the same for others, so hopefully it'll be something that goes both ways. (:
