Loved Stromae's songs when he made music. They seem light hearted to an English speaker but once you either learn French or run the lyrics through Google Translate, you start to realize that they are talking about some very serious and dark shit. "Quand C'est?" certainly hit it out of the park with the message of how much of a negative impact cancer has on everyone.
Exactly! i noticed with more and more of his songs they actually have a pretty serious and dark have a undertune. But I do think that makes him a great artist!
I do love his songs cause of this, it gives so much inspiration and with the wording the chooses its really art!
