Introducing 'Blue Ice.' This ice themed skull pendant will give you a cold chill just by looking at it!

The 4 inch raccoon skull came from a naturally deceased animal, as is the case with all of the bones used in my art. It was processed by me using environment safe methods.

I airbrushed the skull in shimmery metallic baby blue and highlighted it in frosty pearlized white that blends into the blue and shifts beautifully in the light. The teeth in particular have a lot of pearly white, giving them the look of icy crags. A single 1 1/2 mm white Swarovski crystal glitters in the brow of the skull.

I removed the canine teeth and replaced them with shards of clear quartz crystal to simulate ice. Brrr!

A delicate hand-linked length of silver plated chain is drilled into the crest of the skull, tipped with a single minibead of sterling silver. A single trimmed white goose feather hangs alongside the small chain, playing off the chilly pearl white accents very nicely.

The entire chunky skull hangs on a thick silver plated 20 inch chain that is attached to the zygomatic arches; the chain closes with a latch clasp. The jaw is cemented on in a semi-open gape and cannot be closed. The skull has a satin finish.
