It wasn't until recently I came to realize and appreciate just how much Disney's Robin Hood indulged in using chubby characters, there are almost too many to count! Among the many many ways this movie inspired me back when I was a wee pup, perhaps one of the biggest was my budding adoration for the heftier set through watching the likes of a certain heavy set wolf up in front (who can still manage to make my little pink heart swoon every now and then tbh).
This is in a way a little tribute to the many wonderfully widened waistlines of the Robin Hood crew. And knowing most of what I draw on a daily basis, chances are good these guys will all be getting some quality time in the macro spotlight in good time too!

Robin Hood is still the only Disney movie I really like (I'm not really as big of a fan of such films now that I'm older) and both the Sherrif (Urf I his somewhat Southern accent) and Robin hold a very special place in my heart...and my loins X3 Heh, though I hope this mean we will see that big pudgy wolf at a MUCH bigger size hurr hurr
Well the movie has always been a sort of 'comfort food' film for me; something I can put on and enjoy it every time I see it and it really shaped my love for a lot of things as far as furries are concerned. I enjoy Robin as a character too, but the Sheriff has always been far and away just...mmph...gosh the times he's gotten me hot under the bowtie are too many to count. >//>
And there will absolutely be more of him on a tremendously gigantic scale! I've already done a few doodles of him already if you haven't seen them in the meantime tho!
