I will freely admit that my knowledge of pony lore is somewhat lacking (never have made the time to catch up on the show), but this is well written. It feels like it can fit right in with Draco's other pony stories, and the back-and-forth story structure is pretty clever at hiding the reveal at the end.

If I had to pick a criticism, it's that said back-and-forth structure may have been a bit too clever, it threw me for a loop at first and I was more than a little confused, a fact that was confounded by me not knowing who at least one of the characters in the flashback sections was (although that may be on me and my lack of pony knowledge). In addition, the actual mechanics/explanation of the suit and the suiting up process both seem to have been glazed over, although that may be more down to my personal preferences and may have been an intended effect of your writing.

All in all, well made, and nice to see you writing again.
