okay so like I said, not a magic expert but...
remind me, if a creature has a "tap this card" effect (like this one does), can you tap said creature on the OPPONENT'S turn to get its effect? if not, the tap effect seems to not really do anything since the effect ends on your turn, and you're left with an already tapped creature that can't defend.
