While the fursuit parade is a great way to see so many of the fursuiters at a con, it is not really conducive to great photos. Everyone is quickly marching past dozens of people (if not hundreds at the larger cons), with no way to decide who to look towards or how to pose (if you happen to have those couple of seconds to stop and do so). You'll find that the majority of any good fursuit parade photos are of those who have been doing fursuit parades for years, and have learned how to present themselves to those watching.
