One thing I kinda like about Super Smash Bros. is that it takes the lovable, high pitched dork that is Mario and turn him into a scowling, serious badass. And Dr. Mario got it even better in Smash 4. So I wanted to draw them in an exaggeratedly serious style.

Blah, I was off then. Their arms look like tree trunks and their hands are ugly and the feet and their heads are too small....but I kinda like it...
