A fantastic bust commission I got from the lovely  raven-blood-13, known also as TAS. I warmly recommend taking a peek at her art, especially if you have characters that might fit the general "monster" definition. And even if you would not have such a character, do go see her gallery in any case!

Love the way the fire looks, how the orbs of fire seem to be swirling in his hands, the cracks in his face and oh, that grin. That expression. Beautiful.

So why Dragan? Because Dragan needs more love and flaming undead elves that can use shadows as a way to get around is nifty in my opinion, that is why. Plus I am having a whale of a time writing scenes with him in them in my story where he appears more than few times. After all, he plays an important role and without him, a lot of things Vergal tries would not even be possible. Or that is the plan at least. In any case, Vergal needs him and Dragan needs Vergal. Even though they do not always see eye to eye. Or in this case, eye to flame.

As to what he is, Dragan (also known as Draganos) is a shadow like, undead entity who is able to use shadows to slither around and about and then materialize elsewhere where there is another shadow. Met an unfortunate fate and died in a magical fire, the remains of which he carried with him to the underworld. Got summoned and pulled to the world of the living by the warlord Vergal Garghan after spending hundreds of years in the underworld. Serves as the "right hand" of Vergal and has the authority to command armies in Vergal's absence. Able to alter the length of his fingernails / talons and use the fire on his back to heat them to incredible temperatures in order to cause further mayhem. Also able to create streams, vortexes, and orbs of fire (which is the case here).

Dragan belongs to
