This is a drawing I collaborated on with Giganaut, which is a picture of Let's character, Ryuu-kun. Giganaut said he was kinda Scottish-themed in this, hence the kilt and shields, ahaha.
I finalized and edited the lineart, but NOTHING was drawn by me, I only applied the colour and shading.

Thank you kindly! I was working on this on and off last night whilst talking to people, but I think cel shading is rather quick and efficient since there is no extra step of blending involved. Giga's drawing proved to be lots of fun to colour and his style is great for this kind of shading. :3
Cel shading is great. :D The only trick is to make your shadings bold and have clean lines. I usually pick a side that the "light" is coming from and begin shading on the other side. For instance, the light was coming from the left side, so I began to shade all the plains of the right sides, like the right side of both his arms, etc.
