quirrel chick Sandy in the yellow jumpsuit of hers.
Original 3D model comes from Nicktoons MLB game. The moment I've seen the screenshot from the game, I recalled "karate island" episode and thought it would be nice to buy one such figurine, unfortunately none of toy companies decided to put it on market. Several months later, while browsing internet for any good 3d models, I found one great website with plenty of game and cartoon characters. To my joy I found the model there . Although I was low on free time, the unfold with pepakura was made. I even started test-build with the head, but the progress was interrupted with models of Swedish military stuff.
When all was finished I started to clean the workspace and after opening one small box I knew this model deserves to be built too. Weather was bad, so I focused on the build primarily.
The model was cut-out,shaped, and assembled in just 4 days of my already ending vacation. The build wasn't difficult, only some minor adjustments were made-notably the eyes. (I decided not to use original, I've bought cheap bag of "google eyes" from one craftstore, and modified'em to fit on model proportionally). When you jiggle with her head, the movable eyes on her head tend to make wacky expressions
At the end the model was finished by adding the baseball cap on her head and I felt content with the result .
Height: 160mm.
Material: CA glue, white wood glue, Paper 120g/sq.cm -two A4 sheets with up to 120 parts (guess) one sheet of office paper for butt-plating the parts, acrylic colours, and set of google eyes
Build time: up to 30 "work" hrs.
I appreciate your thoughts and If you wanna know anything, I'd be obliged to answer
