Story one.
Cats with taste
‘’Sigh….towns….there is no difference between them. Wherever I go so am I met with the same old thing and nothing new!...Ugh, why did this have to happen to me In the first place? Why was I left behind? Maybe they just didn’t want me and thought it would be better to get rid of me in some kind of way that seemed a lot more like an accident, then something they intended to do?...Sadly enough so am I having a hard time seeing them do that to me, after all, they treated me like I was a part of their family…almost.’’
That night, under the moons shining white light and the roof tops dark shadows, was a pretty thin and hungry cat walking. His name was Claw, which is the name that his former owners has given him, before they left him. It wasn’t intentional, at least…that’s what he has chosen to believe.
Claw, that was for the moment thinking about what he could possibly find to eat, looked up towards the star covered sky and stared at it for a bit. It was a pretty beautiful sight and it would have been even prettier if it hadn’t been for the dirt covered alleyway that he was standing in. The reason to why he was here was for food, nothing but food…and maybe a nice box to sleep in. Anything that was eatable and hopefully chewable was on the menu right now as he was almost starving. It might sound nasty to you, but if you haven’t eaten anything except for an old rat during three days of running away from dogs so can that make a cat desperate.
He began to search through all of the trashcans and thrash bags he could find, as well as a few boxes that had been scattered from one end of the alley the other, but he found nothing….nothing worth eating anyway.
He slowly made his way past all the garbage with a tired body and a hurting stomach. ‘’I need to find something to eat soon or I’ll end up as nothing but a doormat for this alleys inhabitant to step on.’’ Maybe inhabitants is the wrong thing to say to this dark and lifeless place, but the fact was still clear that he probably wouldn’t make another night without anything to please his hollow gut.
It was then in that moment as he saw it, right in front of his nose, a few meters away…..a mouse.
He said a quiet ‘’Yes!’’ Before he quickly crutched down and tried to make himself as flat as possible. ‘’Patience can really pay of sometimes.’’ He thought and began to slowly crawl towards his unexpecting victim, with his mouth almost drooling of the desire to put his teeth in the little rodent.
The mouse was making some kind weird movement with his front paws that made it look like it was scratching its nose or something. But whatever it was doing, scratching or washing its face, didn’t matter to him as the little guy’s fate would soon be sealed.
‘’Juuuust a little bit closer.’’ Claw thought and prepared himself to jump onto his soon to be night meal, but then all of a sudden.
‘’Wait what?!’’ Out from the shadows came something ells and caught the mouse under its paws! And soon enough came the oooh so familiar sound of a tiny neck being broken and a victory laugh from a successful hunter.
‘’Hahahah! Trying to run away from me, huh?! Well too bad for you that the one you were trying to escape from is this towns best mouse hunter!’’
Claw stood up and let his somewhat angry gaze land on the stranger. It was a cat. No doubt about that, a male cat with a bit of a ragged black and white fur and a pair yellow eyes. ‘’From the looks of him so is he probably a guy who has been used to living in the outside world, or more like in this town I guess, while I’ve only have nibbled in that kind of lifestyle from the moment I was forced into it.’’
It was at that moment that it felt like his life was being slowly drained for him, bit after bit. It felt likes his bones where trying to hold up a house and like his mind was being slowly lulled into sleep.
He was about to turn around from the torture of seeing his former prey being devoured by someone ells, but before he even got a chance to put down his right paw and go all the way back from the direction in which he came from…so was he met with an surprisingly kind and soft sounding voice…that belonged to the stranger.
‘’Oh, I didn’t see you there!’’
Claw turned around and got his eyes caught in the stranger friendly gaze.
‘’H-h…hi.’’ That was all he could muster as he was already too tired to even for his own good and it felt like he was going to faint any second now.
The unfamiliar cat looked at him from his head and all the way down to his tail, like he was measuring some kind of old and broken bed, before he let his eyes connect with him again, but this time, with more worry.
‘’Are you okay buddy? From the looks of it so haven’t you been getting enough food…and sleep for that matter.’’ He waited for Claw to say something, anything, but when he didn’t get a response and instead saw that the feline had its eyes locked onto the rodent under his own paws…so came a thought of understanding to him. ‘’You want this…don’t you?’’
The only response he got was a weak nod from the dirt covered Claw as well as a pair of eyes that you didn’t have to look twice in to see the desire and hunger in them.
‘’Poor guy.’’ He thought and picked up the little mouse, but before he had taken his second step so had the few days of hunger and lack of rest caught up to the ones standing feline before claws body finally lost all of its strength and fell over as he fainted.
‘’H-hey!’’ The stranger immediately dropped the mouse he was carrying and went straight to the fallen cat’s side. ‘’What are you doing?! Wake up!’’ But before he began to push and punch the poor guy in an amateur and inefficient way to wake him up, so was he filled with relief when he saw him breathing.
‘’He had me worried there for a second…he’s just sleeping…thankfully.’’ He let his paw rest on Claws head and sighed. ‘’You’ve not had an easy time here, I guess…don’t worry. I will help you.’’
With that said so is Claw pretty quickly dragged onto the cats back.
‘’Wow, he was lighter than I thought.’’ After a few seconds of adjusting the extra weight on his back, picking up the mouse by the tail and taking a deep breath before he headed home, so couldn’t he help himself from giggling a bit.
‘’This guy is going to need a real snack when he wakes up and then I’m not talking about five mice or something like that. No, I’m talking about a breakfast that isn’t going to let him go hungry for the rest of the day!’’ He grinned and took one last look at the stares before he went home. ‘’I have a feeling that this is the being of something special!’’
‘’….Where…where am I?’’ Claw slowly opened his eyes and was met with the suns eye hurting light. ‘’Owch!’’ He quickly closed his eyes again and covered his face with his front paws. ‘’Ugh, I didn’t need that first thing in the morning!’’
He then suddenly realised that he was no longer in the alley…and that his stomach was hurting more than he could ever imagine. ‘’I guess I didn’t have the time to let my teeth sink into that little rodent when…that guy…offered me it.’’
He then turned his head left and right when the second realisation fell over him.
‘’Did he…help me?....and…is this his…home?’’ He took a look at the wooden walls, the pillow he that he had been laying on and the exit with its morning light shining through it. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it seemed pretty cosy anyway. With the pillow pretty much covering the whole floor so could two or three cats probably fit inside this place.
Claw slowly got on his feet and walked towards the exit. He was just going to take a quick peak, as he guessed that his host wouldn’t just leave him here in his home all by himself, at least not for long.
But before he even was able to poke his head out so was he on the verge of clawing his hosts eyes out when he appeared outside.
‘’Hi there! Did I scare ya?’’
Claw took a deep breath before he answered him with a quiet nod and sat down.
‘’Sorry for that!’’ The cat said and surprisingly just walked up to him and gave claw a lick on the cheek. ‘’It wasn’t my intention to try to give you a heart attack, but when I saw that you were awake so didn’t I want to leave you! Aaaand your lunch waiting! Even if it’s more like breakfast right now than lunch I guess.’’
With the words breakfast and lunch so had he gotten Claws full attention and it took les then a second for him to ask. ‘’B-breakfast?!’’
The cat laughed and nodded happily before he grabbed a nearby mouse and tossed it to his guest.
Claw almost desperately caught it and began to feed on it. It wasn’t much, but that didn’t stop him from devouring faster than he have ever devoured something in his whole life. But as he took bite after bite so was he struck by embarrassment for his actions. ‘’T-thank you!’’ He said licking his muzzle in shame before he also said. ‘’I’m sorry for acting like this, but…I haven’t eaten anything for sooo long and…and I couldn’t help myself ones I saw this mouse that you gave me right now and I…?’’ But before he had finished apologising with his paws covered in mouse blood, so had the cat walked up to him ones again and this time so was Claw given a friendly lick on the forehead.
‘’Don’t worry! I could see it in your eyes that you’ve had it ruff and I’m not the kind of guy that simply leaves a kit like you to starve in the middle of town with nowhere to go!...Because you have nowhere to go…right? But no matter if you got no place to stay or not, so were you too weak to take yourself anywhere. I mean, you literally fainted in front of my own eyes after all!’’
While his host was talking, so were Claw quietly chewing on his breakfast.
‘’Did he call me a kit?’’ As that question entered Claw’s head so had his kind rescuer put his face awkwardly close to his.
‘’My name is Fang by the way! What’s yours?’’
Claw swallowed the last piece of the mouse and said. ‘’C-Claw…it’s Claw.’’
Fang smiled and looked down at the red spot that had been left by the mouse’s body. ‘’Well, now when your stomach have gotten some fuel to start himself back up, so should you be prepared for the early lunch that’ve I’ve caught for you!’’
Claw became fully awake now, even if the mouse already had gotten his brain working again. ‘’W-what?! Lunch?!’’
‘’Yeah! Just follow me and you’ll see a lunch you won’t forget for a looooong time!’’
Claw couldn't believe what he was looking at, as much as he couldn’t believe that he was supposed to eat it….whole!
‘’A-a…..a bunny?....you want me to eat a bunny…..whole?....are you out of your mind?!’’
Fang couldn’t keep himself from laughing. ‘’Heheh, yes! And don’t worry, it’s not going to go as you think!’’
He looked at Fang with confusion before he let his eyes fall on the cute and fluffy animal that had somehow been trapped under a box. He didn’t know if he should ask him how he managed to do something like that without….knocking it out or why his…new friend asked him to do something that obviously required the jaw and body of a snake! I mean what was he thinking? The bunny was even bigger than himself. How was he supposed to succeed with something like this?
Fang gave Claw a light push and then said. ‘’I know what you’re thinking, but I promise you that it will work! And I might as well say this right now, but no! You have not! Had this ability since you were born…or anything like that!’’
He then gave Claw another push, but towards the bunny this time, and then went by the box that was keeping the bunny trapped. ‘’When you’re ready so am I going to flip this thing and try to hold this guy still, okay? On the count of three! One!
‘’No wait! Can’t you give a better explanation?!’’
‘’Two!’’
‘’What if the bunny excapes?! When you-!’’
‘’Three!!’’ And with that so had Fang with an sparingly amount of strength flipped the box and begun to wrestle with the pretty long eared creature until he succeded to hold him still with its twisting and turning in anger and fear.’’
‘’Quick, try to engulf its head with your maw before I loss enough power to hold him!’’
Claw hesitated. This whole situation had come out of nowhere and if it wasn’t for Fangs seriousness right now and for the fact that this was really happening, so would he probably have thought that he was just joking.
‘’Come on! Do it quick!’’
He took a deep breath before he went to the bunnies head. He didn’t know he would be able to succeed with something like this, but as he was standing in front of it and thought that if this would actually work so wouldn’t he have to worry about food for the whole day…..and probably for the next day too.
‘’Here I go!....I guess.’’ And with that said so did he his best to open his mouth wide enough to at least fit the bunnies nose first. He then walked forward and began to slowly push his maw over its muzzle, it went easier then he had expected and before he even knew it so was more than the bunnies muzzle resting on his tongue.
‘’What the…’’ It was like his jaws and skink somehow had gotten the same exact stretchiness as a snakes and helped him to engulf like half of the creature’s head.
The bunny itself was now struggling more than ever, but when it looked like it was going to push Fang of free himself from Claw’s stinking, wet and tight mouth so was it suddenly pushed further in by an unknown force down by its legs.
It gave out a squeak of terror as its head was covered in saliva and had to endure an almost squeezing experience when it was pushed against Claw’s tongue and the roof his mouth.
Meanwhile was Claw having a lot of mixed feelings as the bunnies body was both sucked and pushed down his throat. For example, did he like this? How was he able to even do such a thing like this? And….was Fang able to do this too?
And If so….then for how long has he done it?
He then returned to reality as he now looked wide eyed as he had somehow succeeded into swallow more than a third of the creature’s body and was already on his way to get the rest down. His muscles, bones and skink was visbly being stretched out and the bunnies body upper body was to be seen in all its pride as the outlines of it was nowhere near unnoticeable.
Claw then saw someone move on his right. It was Fang….and something else, but before he got a chance to take a better look at the stranger so had Fang walked closer and out of nowhere rolled him onto his back. This caused the bunny, by gravities help, get sucked in even faster. It didn’t go as fast a lightning strike, but soon enough so was the only thing left outside its feet….which tickled Claws nose.
After sneezing a few times and gasped for air even more so was he surprised to see the outlines of the fluffy legs of the bunny stretching out his fur covered throat.
‘’I don’t know how much more of this I can take.’’ Nothing about this gave him any kind of pain, but he still just wanted to be done with it so that he could get a moment of rest. But until then so was he forced to look at the ones free and fluffy creature disappear down his warm and wet insides.
He heard paw steps and looked ones again to his right up to an amused and grinning cat. He looked at him for a moment before he asked.
‘’Happy now?’’
Fang giggled and said. ‘’Yeah…and you?’’
Claw laid a paw onto his bunny formed belly. He still couldn’t believe it. Inside and under his own fur was a living creature uncomfortably covered in stomach acid, saliva and if that wasn’t enough so was his skin being stretched so much around it that it was impossible to think that it had any ability to move a single muscle.
He looked at Fang and the stranger that was standing beside him. It was another cat, a female.
‘’Care to introduce me to your friend?’’ He asked eyeing them with a mix of insecurity and curiosity.
Fang nodded and said. ‘’This is Spring! She lives a few houses away and together shall the two of us make sure that you survive here.’’ He stopped for a moment and gave Claw a friendly smile. ‘’But don’t worry, this place isn’t life threatening or anything, as long as you know the few places that you need to be careful around as well as does that you should never go to.’’
Spring the walked up to Claw and licked him on his nose and laid a paw on his stretched out belly. ‘’I hope to get to know you better! And I hope we will be good friends from here on out!’’ She ended the last thing she said with a smile which made him He blushed
Fang walked up to both of them and looked at the sun that was still shining bright in the late morning. He then turned to Spring and then back to Claw.
‘’Now…tell me…I mean us, how you got here Claw! And leave nothing out.’’
Claw felt the wind was blow past them and together came the fresh air.
He looked at the two cats that he guess was his new friends and sighed.
‘’I guess I have to tell them this sometime.’’ He then looked at them grinning and snorted at his own insecurity. ‘’Alright….I’ll tell you.’’
